The inspiration behind this painting was coltsfoot flowers on a hot summers day and their evolution to start seeding. This is an original acrylic un-streched canvas painting called "Tussilago" done on a lightweight cotton and polyester canvas, strengthened by a few layers of gesso. Completion Year 2022. Please be aware that this painting comes un-stretched and ships rolled. The painting can be hung unstreched, placed between wooden bars (''poster hangers''), or it can be framed. The artwork has been varnished. The artist signature in acrylic can be found in, what the artist sees as the bottom right corner, but you can hang the artwork in any direction you prefer. The artwork size: 55,5 x 40 cm (21.9” x 15.7”) + 1cm white border at the top and bottom The piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Details of the artwork, and the unique serial number can be found written in ink pen on the back.

Oscar L Alexander is a Nordic artist working in many mediums, mainly with paint, photography and sculptural work. He has worked in the creative industry his whole life, most time spent working in fashion, ranging from creative director of fashion magazines to modelling and hair & makeup artistry, which finally led him to photography. He draws his inspiration from, anatomy, emotions, history, nature and textures, which you can clearly see in his work. Many artworks have their roots in his own life experiences, trying to normalise talking about mental health and also not only normalising, but desexualising the nude body. People often say that his work is very multi layered, that every time you look at his artwork you end up discovering something new. After living in many countries and cities, including London for over a decade, Oscar’s studio is now based in Barcelona.
