About The Artwork
"Twins " has a pair of perky piglets that just want your attention. Nancy is totally finding crazy fun in her barn yard animal series. These are all oils on stretched canvas. The canvas measures 20": x 20" and is framed in a black wood floater frame and wired for immediate hanging. Twins is full of life with her white and pinks and just wanting visitors to the farm to notice. The approximate measurment of the ouside of the frame is 22" x 22" x 2" deep. Nancy tells us that possibly the why in the interest in rendering these and other barnyard animals stems from her youth. Nancy grew up in Lancaster Pa where her yard ran next to an Amish farm. Animals were everywhere. A special memory was going to Farm Shows with her grandfather. Maybe this is just full circle. As I have mentioned on a number of my new pieces. This year has been an excellent one. I just delivered paintings to a company. Of which 12 were chosen for purchase. September 29, 2023 I have a one person show opening and will consist of approximately 30 pieces. October 6, 2023 I will be delivering another 35 pieces for a one person exhibition titles "Facets". During the remainder of 2023 I have been invited to 5 other invitationals which will hang 3 - 8 pieces each. And I am turning 70 in November. During the end of September, 21-29 I will be traveling on business and pleasure. During that one week period I will not be available to ship paintings.
