About The Artwork
Two Astronauts are dancing, swimming, or floating, against a blue spiral galaxy. With their arms outstretched and their fingers nearly touching, they are reflecting on Da Vinci’s ‘Creation of Adam’ and the ‘Hand of God’ and in the grasp of a greater sense of God; the universe is infinite, expanding and all encompassing. Yet here is a galaxy full of mostly blue stars, which are usually younger suns, framed by the inky blue and darkness of deep space. It is still the beginning.
