About The Artwork
I want you to keep me and I want you on the walk under arks of a bridge I listen to music that’s you and your neck and skin pale and tender to red when i listen to spring It is you and under the subway carry me out of a vain diamond mind show your eyes of blue steel and cold stars walk with me through that bridge or carry me out This painting is about feeling stagnant. The visualisation of the idea came while I was walking under the subway bridge from Eppendorfer Baum to Hoheluftbruke which is a ritual I do when I feel lost. The “Carry me out” by Mitski was playing and I was heartbroken. Even more heartbroken I was while painting.
