kagimu Joshua godwin also known as the rap poet, is a visual and performing poet, born in kampala Uganda in the east African region, he has showcased in different art and music festivals like laba art festitival, bayinmba arts festival, slum festival, international youth festival, kampala contemporary art festival in which he won an audience award for the boda boda art project in kampala, he has also exhibited his artworks at uzima intiative NGO against malaria, in his art works, he mainly uses different medias to potray his images which makes him also a mixed media artist, he uses paper, news paper, toilent paper rolls, airtime cards, magazines and many more, Joshua is also a performing poet who performs with a western drum the djembe drum, in which he has performed in different poetry in sessions in kampala like open mic at Uganda museum, poetry in session kampala, bonfire national theatre,and workshops about writing,
