Inspired by the beauty and freedom of birds and how they can be a metaphor for the human spirit. We often trap and restrain ourselves, sometimes without even being aware of what we are doing. I’ve always disliked the idea of caging birds and keeping them as pets, only to let them free to fly around in a room every so often. Caging a bird or any animal is caging ourselves. I see no distinction.
