About The Artwork
This is my dear hiking partner, Usnea. I adamantly refused to paint animals until I met him and couldn't help but to capture his beauty in a form other than photography. This painting is from a recent hike we had in Craggy Gardens in the southern Appalachian Mountains. It was about 7 o clock in the evening, and the light him in magnificently.
