About The Artwork
A typical Hausa man of the Northern Nigeria are known to sell groceries among other things. Many of them sell in small quantities which they push around in wheelbarrows. I particularly respect their efforts to trade little businesses that is within their means in other to support their families. I was fascinated to one of them who sold watermelons and cucumbers at a popular market in Ibadan where I live. I painted this with pallette knife using quality oil and canvas. It is not framed and will be shipped in a tube.
