About The Artwork
This painting was originally a framed print of a stag that my sister bought, and her husband was not too pleased. She was pretty heart-broken; and with me being the artist in the family, Mama ask me to fix the situation. So, I traded my sister a family heirloom painting I inherited (that she was very jealous about), and got stuck with the unimpressive print... I worked with a street artist from LA for a few months and learned a great deal about abstract painting, and took a stab at the stag! It really brought the stag to life with dynamic movement, and gestural color.
