I am an Artist currently based in a rural village in Essex. Working mainly in oils, I enjoy figurative painting as well as painting water, particularly the ocean. I use oil paint in a variety of ways, from thinning it down and pouring, to using a palette knife. I love to create textures, be they physical, or the appearance of texture. I enjoy the flexibility of painting on paper or canvas and sometimes introducing an element of mixed media.
