About The Artwork

We live in a world that is the work of hundreds of generations of human beings. The reality captured by the human sensory world is not something that just exists, but is a product of industry and society. Because the production system that has been running so far has been based on capital, which has become increasingly massive and sharp-edged since the latter half of the 19th century, many changes have taken place in human modes of survival. Discussions about changes in civilization from upstream to downstream are never separated from environmental issues. The biggest threat to human habitation is the climate change crisis. Where if it is unstoppable, humans will only become tacky folklore for the next earth entity. So, what is the relationship between the current socio-economic dimension and the issue of climate change? 2/3 of the earth's surface is ocean. A priori, it is the oceans that play a major role in causing and protecting against the climate change crisis. Among the wealth of the sea are whales. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) scientific research report states that each large whale absorbs an average of 33 thousand kilograms of carbon dioxide. Meanwhile, trees can absorb up to 22 kilograms of carbon dioxide in a year. Fairly long range. It is by imitation and simulation of the magnitude of the magical power as well as the 'dialectic' of the sea that this painting is created with the visualization of a whale's head, a human lying down, and pegon letters as a background. On the one hand, this painting departs from our justification for the rise of loose human values. On the other hand, the elements in this painting represent a big hope and responsibility towards modern humans.

Born in Bantul on November 6, 2002 I started to like drawing since I was young, but I haven't focused on learning closer to art itself, then after graduating from junior high school I focused on studying fine arts at SMSR Jogja in 2019 until now. Creating is just an expression of what I feel and recording traces of events/events that may be meaningful in life. For the creative process now, I still use themes about my daily life and the past, using paper and canvas to express my ideas.
