"White Cloud" Painting

We may try different things in life while searching for our path, even if we don’t have a clear roadmap of what the path is. And once we finally find our path, we often run into roadblocks, naysayers, and distractions tempting us to give up hope and stray from our paths. But, if we listen and trust that we are doing what we are meant to do, we will see road signs and messages from our ancestors and guides, helping us find our way and encouraging us to continue moving forwards. These signs may come as dreams, things or other people placed in our paths, or even situations that may alter our course, even if ever so slightly, guiding us to and along the right path. Sometimes we must face the challenges that come along or even find ourselves in or observing situations that help define who we want and do not want to be. All of these things help forge us along the way. Even when it’s not clear to us that we are making progress along our paths, we must remember that great things take time, to keep faith, keep moving forwards, and trust what is to be. Along our journeys we must learn to see and be the light in the mist of the storm, to be gentler and kinder with all our brothers and sisters of all walks of life. We always have a choice to wallow in a dark cloud and despair or we can learn to improve ourselves and be a white cloud of hope. We can work to inspire and help all those in need, and learn to not just travel in the light, but to become a beacon of light, shining for all to see.
