Window of Reflection Painting

This poignant acrylic painting offers a glimpse through the window of an ordinary Ukrainian home, where the ravages of war have persisted for over a year and a half. As an artist hailing from Nikopol, a town undergoing relentless shelling for more than 14 months, this artwork stands as a profound reflection on these harrowing experiences. What people in other countries witness on their TV screens, Ukrainians experience through their own windows (if those windows still exist). I chose acrylic paints and a liner for this piece due to their quick-drying properties, allowing me to work continuously without interruptions.
