Mykola Kozlovsky is a Ukrainian contemporary artist who works in non-figurative painting. A composition combining a landscape with a still life. In general, for me this is the main part of painting: to organize the environment, make a harmonious composition, get rid of excess, create the illusion of light. This painting is part of a series of paintings called "Behind the window" where I embody the idea of light. I also like to break the usual perspective and draw objects from different angles. For example: I draw a table while standing, then I sit down and draw objects on this table from a sitting position, then I move the easel to the side and from this angle I also draw some objects. This is how you can combine different elements of the motif (landscape, still life or figures), and show the still life as if you walked past it, or sat down, that is, looked at it from all sides. I have to ignore the rules of academic painting, for the sake of an interesting formal and compositional design. In this still life, this is not reflected, because there is some correct perspective of space, but there are also errors, and movement to the side, a more vertical perception of the motif, which is wider. Materials: paper thick 300 grams per square meter. Acrylic paints, varnish. . I am an artist from Ukraine, due to the war situation in our country there may be delays in the delivery of works of art. First I ship the artworks to Poland, where my representative makes shipments to any country. I apologize for the inconvenience, thank you for your understanding.

Ukraine
Mykola Kozlovsky is a Ukrainian contemporary artist who works in non-figurative painting. Born in 1994 in Stupnytsia village, Lviv region. Now lives and works in Lviv, Ukraine. Art education: icon painter, religious painting. Admiring the landscape from nature. I like to use the principle of three-stage painting in a modern way I was born and raised in a small, beautiful village, surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes. That's why I mostly paint landscapes in nature. The basis of my art is a harmonious composition, this is a common feature of any painting: from the Renaissance to abstraction. Color has the main importance in my art, I do not copy the colors of nature, but combine colors harmoniously as in nature. I rarely mix colors mechanically, but mix optically, or use pure color. The main source of inspiration for me is sunlight and forms of nature. My abstraction is based on the constant movement and change of matter in space and time. For example: a tree grows from a seed, grows under the influence of sunlight, ground, gravity, air, the tree becomes a whimsical, unpredictable shape This tree is a sign of its time. Then the tree dries up and dies, and becomes food for new plants that will go through the same cycle. This is the fate of all living things. I often observe this in nature, and it is the basis of my abstract perception. And that's why I believe that for me the form is the main thing and the content is secondary. And that's why I consider my paintings close to abstraction, but not pure abstraction. I draw on paper, cardboard, canvas; I use pencils, markers, acrylic, oil. I often combine acrylic and oil.
