Wooden Rings Painting

The work represents a wooden toy placed in a particular environment such as a box-shaped playroom and without the upper cover; a sort of window therefore from which you can glimpse an open and not well defined space with measured cloud formations. The object in the center is well underlined in its shapes by a bright chromatic application and is very characterized by the shadow that pours onto the wall closest to it, amplifying a strong physical presence. However, the shape of the shadow appears apparently divergent in features from the very swollen ones of the wooden toy, thus creating a second body within the work itself. A room therefore with a perspective effect that extends to the limits of the painting delineating light and dark areas. The result is a balanced visual perception governed by defining elements a status of simplicity and order.
