About The Artwork
« Yini ». If you truly knew the magnitude of your power, you wouldn’t be scared of shit I specialize in figurative portrait. After more than 40 years of work, the desire to let go inspired me to paint my stories "acryically", on paper, very spontaneously. Among them are my three cats, including here, Yini, a 4-year-old female, very naughty, very impertinent. So I tried to represent her character. I was always told that I could paint the eyes extraordinarily well. It turns out that this is indeed quite the look of Yini. The choice to work in acrylic, while I mainly paint with oil, and to do it on a paper basis forces me to remain spontaneous. I can’t really do retouches because I treat acrylic like watercolor.
