About The Artwork

This painting name is " Fight for nothing and nowhere to belong", and its is one of artworks from " Healing Mountain" collection that I made. the meaning and concept of this painting is about the never ending fight between life and death and darkness and light, that every human being experience it in their own way. and i think this is an old and ancient concept so i tried to show it with inspiration of myths characters and in my own surrealistic vision. how we can get healed in this paradoxical life?! my answer is:just with creation! The medium is collage and mix of ink and acrylic color on cardboard that helped me to create the final result with different textures and qualities in aesthetic values of the artwork.

I was born in 1986 in Tehran, into an artist family. since childhood because of my imagination and interest in visualizing images and mental creations, painting and crafts became my best hobbies. Today, after studying for a bachelor's and master's degree in fine arts and painting and a P.h.d in art research at Tehran University of Art and Architecture, I have completed. In addition to holding numerous solo and group exhibitions in Iran, I have been the Artistic Director and curator at "Elahe Gallery" in Tehran for the recent 5 years, and for the past 8 years I have been teaching specialized theory and studio based courses at Tehran University of Art and Architecture and then for new and international experiences in my carrier i moved to Italy, so at this moment i am working as a freelancer painter. From the point of view of the general study of my works, they are meaning-oriented, and I combine what is in my inner and outer world, content or perceptual-sensory concerns, through the lens of my objective eye and my mental eye. And in the visual composition of the works, I try to use multi-layered images of semantic or symbolic elements as well as the qualities of the visual elements to talk to a wider audience, so that my works are both understandable and complex based on the amount of lived visual experience. Or the meaning of the audience of the work, the connection between the work of art and its audience in a wider range. In general, I am interested in semantic and visual contradictions, and I find this related to my understanding of the world and life, which is very paradoxical. It is possible to say that my artworks could be in the group of surrealistic, expressionistic and figurative arts, that is always caring conceptual stories about human, specially women in contemporary life.
