As a psychologist, whenever I make a painting, I keep in mind first the feelings I feel about the subject and also how I can impress those who look at it. Babies are loaded with tenderness, calm, joy and peace. I chose this sleeping theme because it gives an idea of serenity. I made a point of pints of hands, for the delicacy and sense of security that pass. To see a baby sleeping, it softens our mind. In this watercolor I used the paper Montval - 100% cellulose - fine grain, quality support for this type of work. Although my work always presents with strong and well marked colors, in this work the colors are clear, the passages of tones are very light giving a smooth outline. I was born in Matozinhos, Minas Gerais, Brazil on February 2, 1962. I worked with art designer, graphic arts, creation, brand development and book covers. I also did for a while filming and videos; and development of electronic content media. I am currently a psychologist, working in a psychoanalytic practice.
