About The Artwork
Oil on canvas primed with handmade temper prime (which contains eggs, linen oil, zinc white etc.). Smooth surface with no structure. Paint thickness less then 1 mm. Richness of color obtained by applying thin transparent layers of paint. Second painting inspired by catastrophe of Korean ferry Sewol in 2014. To finish it I have spent about 250 working hours. Background (brown spaces between) had been painted after all rings. It has damar matt finish varnish.
