Contact us.I am a painter who reflects on how we see the world, how we remember it, and how we sense our own existence. Rather than focusing on accurately reproducing objects, my interest lies in the space between what is visible and what remains unseen—the subtle gap where perception and sensation gently waver.
Life is never entirely clear, and emotions and memories resist easy definition. I embrace this ambiguity and instability, believing that what cannot be fully grasped often reveals a deeper truth about both humanity and the world. Instead of offering definitive answers, my practice seeks to leave open questions, allowing reflection and contemplation to continue.
Figures appear in my paintings, but they are not fixed or fully determined. They emerge, overlap, and dissolve, existing in a state of becoming rather than certainty. These forms are not meant to explain objects, but to serve as vessels for memory, emotion, and traces of presence. Through form, I explore what lies beneath the visible—layers of time, lingering sensations, and the afterimages of the mind.
Through the use of light, negative space, layering, and blur, I suggest that the world is not a single, stable image, but a shifting sequence shaped by perspective and moment. Empty space is not absence, but a place where thought and feeling can dwell. Within this openness, viewers are invited to recall their own memories and experiences.
For me, painting is not an explanation, but a space for contemplation—not a finished conclusion, but an open-ended question. If a viewer can pause before my work and quietly reflect on their own emotions, gaze, and sense of being, that becomes the most meaningful outcome I hope for.
