About The Artwork
“The Hot Steppers” 2009: this work is a vivid cycle of feelings, emotions, magical images, fabulous creatures. A fantastic kaleidoscope that looks like an extravaganza of pleasant sounds and positive vibrations. An entire universe is dedicated to life and energy, fiction and poetry, dreams and space battles. This work was created in mixed media, where fluorescent acrylic paints, gels, toy parts, jewelry, antique buttons were used ... And the most unexpected thing is the finest paper dada collage (inclusions and fragments). The foundation for this work is a sturdy plastic sheet (acryliс) that is attached to a wooden stretcher. This dynamic psychedelic composition is created in the legendary Midi Free studio.

Dmytro Kurovskiy was born in 1971, in Chernihiv, Ukraine. He began his artist career back in the beginning of 1990’s by taking part in concerts and exhibitions. Since 1991, he is a leader of Foa Hoka musical band. http://foahoka.com Kurovskiy works with neo-pop/psychedelic art. He enjoys experimenting with new techniques that combine art, music and abstract design. His works (graphic works, collages and design objects) are in private collections in Ukraine, Spain, Russia, Germany and the United States
