About The Artwork
The image is a part of a research on the myth of Atlantis. Most of archeologists set Atlantis at Santorini (Greece): 4000 years ago a big eruption kept a large part of the island into the abyss, so now the island is a "caldera" in which a small volcano is still growing up. I want represent visually the sense of fragility of our life even when you live in a place similar to a paradise.
