About The Artwork

ABOUT SERIES --------------------------- The cultures and rituals of many tribes are vastly influenced by their surroundings: weather patterns, sources of food and water, animals and plants. What if there were a tribe of people living in the corn fields? What would their worship rituals be like? What clothes, make-up and hairstyles would they wear and how would they communicate? And again I want to show the similarity between man and nature. We have the same forms, the same aspirations. And in most cases, we are also not asked for our opinion (reference to the title work of the series - Silance). All artworks from this series you can see at my collection “CORN"

“For me photography is a visual game that allows me to combine two things: create and fix illusions (make real objects unreal and vice versa) and convey love (love for light, color, unusual objects and architecture, for nature and people as the main)". Diana Kondra is an original artist who uses photography as her primary means of expression. She transforms her life and emotional experiences into atmospheric, sometimes romantic, sometimes mystical works with a touch of surrealism. Her style is defined by deep elaboration of composition, delicate work with light and colors. Half of her portfolio is black and white. The artist does this deliberately to keep the idea without destruction to color. She uses color in her photography to highlight additional artistic significance. In 2019, Diana's work was included in the list of the 50 best conceptual photographs according to the 35 awards international photography competition. Hew work was presented both in Moscow and St. Petersburg during solo and group exhibitions. Right now Diana lives in the North Caucuses (Russia). She takes most of her photos here, inspired by nature, unusual objects, architecture and people. From 2020 Diana makes online photo shoots around the world.
