"Coming back from where we have not been / Look what I found" - Unique - Limited Edition 1 of 1 Photograph

It's based on a photo, in which I digitally coloured the areas of an abstraction of architecture fragments. The result is a work with the title "Collisions Nr 450", which is sort of "the" ancestor of all family members. I started randomly cutting out fragments from this picture, rearranging them randomly anew. The same with the result, same with the result, same with the result, same with the result - every time leading to a bigger picture. Finally I added my barcode, filling the black stripes with a 180 degree turn of the fourth fragmentation, which ended in a work called "The change within distance", which then again was the basis for other works. So "Coming back ..." is an abstraction of an abstraction, of an abstraction of an abstraction of an abstraction and the "child" of another artwork. It's an ongoing transfromation from one artwork into another. I love the idea of creating a new work out of an existing one, transforming one into another, so that there is a connection between my works. Like a big family, everybody is related with each other. One more, the other less. It's the same in life in general: everything is related, everything that happens, is good for something else, everything has a reason.
