About The Artwork

The title: "CS 55", Children from Fukushima, inspired by the Japanese poet Taro Aizu. Limited edition: in each different material and each new size: 1 limited edition (10), handsignatured. In carbon fibre, on canvas, or in aluminium with folia the pictures have already included a frame to be hanged on the wall. The costs: if You wish to order the print in an alternative material (carbon fibre, aluminium with folia, paper) please request a new price calculation. Depending on the chosen material, on the size and the weight, the shipping costs could be different. The Story: 2010, when I visited Tel Aviv and was looking to the beach I descovered a woman holding the hands of 2 children and looking towards the water. This moment impressed me and I catched it with my camera. Originally the idea I painted 3 times in different sizes, in oil on canvas. One of them was exposed in London at the exhibition "Spirit of Art". In 2017, for the "Global Reactive International Art Exhibition", in memory of Fukushima´s reactive tragedy, I took a photography about my painting, wich I digitally prepared. Taro Aizus poem impressed me.Therefor I chosed the title for this work : "CS 55"-Children from Fukushima. The idea to print the work in a limitted edition is interesting because it offers an individual print for less price than a painting in oil on canvas.

In painting as well as in photography, I am fascinated by the development of the changing and transitory world. While in my painting I intuitively reproduce what moves me emotionally, in photography I try to capture elusive moments with the help of the camera. Actual I try to connect digitally my photography with my oil paintings.Whaz I mean the viewer can see in my new works, "Silence". Past meets Future in the present: You can look through an old, damaged window (sad colors) and descover the scenery of an optimistically landscape, full of warm colors, full of life.
