About The Artwork
The photo was taken in Munich in 2016, as I was exploring the city with a new camera. The hazy, muted pastel colours come from the photo being taken through the glass of the shop window, on the street, giving it an almost vintage feel. I was pleased with this shot, it is calming, pleasant and striking to look at, with an ethereal, otherworldly quality. I take a somewhat minimal approach to much of my photography, filtering out the uneccessary elements to really try and focus on and celebrate what I want to show, the subject matter that interested me enough to take the shot in the first place. 20 limited-edition prints available, all signed by the artist. Printed on premium 170gsm satin paper. Rolled and sent in a sturdy cardboard tube. Size: 60cm W x 40cm H (24in x 16in)
