Story & Message: Researchers who study faces have observed that eyes are the window to the soul because they’re the most sincere part of the face. We don’t have any control over our eyes, as opposed to the mouth, for example. When you like something, your pupils dilate involuntarily and give you away, and they contract as a sign of rejection. We’re not liars because we can’t be. We can voluntarily make our facial expressions and movements to match a certain social situation, but we can’t stop our eyes from reflecting how we feel. Can you see my soul through my eyes? This image was created in collaboration with a doll artist, which is known as @tilly2milly on Instagram. A limited number of most popular images are available in a "cozy" size 30x30 cm (11,8x11,8 inches) editions of 85. Those are issued on Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fibre (200 gsm) natural white paper and come with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. The print itself is not signed. See what's available.
