About The Artwork
Printed on high quality canvas made of a mixture of polyester and cotton. Fine texture, UV resistent and matte finish. The canvas itself is 60x80 cm on a 2cm frame. It's mounted inside a 4cm frame. Hanging materials are included. Relaxing image of a young woman underwater in a red dress with a white floating drape against a black background. She looks very graceful and relaxed as she floats under water. I wanted the viewer to experience a sense of wonder, grace and peace. I love the underwater world and spent most of my life working in, near and under water. With my photos I hope to share my passion for this peaceful, quiet and amazing world.

I've been scuba diving and taking under water photographs for 30 years. Most of my photos picture marine life, but I recently started experimenting in a pool environment. I won first place in the Swiss Festisub macro contest of 2005, third place in the underwaterphotography.com macro contest in 2006 and third place macro photography in the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science contest.
