VIEW IN MY ROOM
River of Gold was inspired by the beautiful river Dart in UK during sunrise when the colours were soaked in gold. The lonely boat in the forefront of the picture with the duck swimming up the river behind hopefully lets the viewer's eye engage with the image. The river's reflections perhaps evoke a warm and enriching feeling in a peaceful way that will make you feel good about the day ahead. Photograph on quality print.

Tim lives in Cowes, isle of Wight UK with his wife Georgie and two children. He studied product design at Northumbria University, UK prior to working for the UK Government (MOD), researching and designing new high performance gas masks for the military. All of Tim’s inventions are either in production or clinical trial stage and span across fields from consumer goods to medical devices. He holds a BA (HONS) & MA in Design Practice and has received 8 national and international awards for his designs. Then in 2013 Tim had an accident and near death experience when a car hit him at speed whilst cycling. During rehabilitation he found photography became a wonderful comfort and therapy. He invested in a Canon 5D MKIII four years ago and has not put his camera down ever since. Tim has always loved photography as a hobby but this has grown into a deep passion. He finds it thrilling trying to plan and capture a moment that can be portrayed in a particular way and remembered, or, to create a scene that evokes an emotional response and is impacting. Tim loves taking shots of boats and although they can't talk, most boats have interesting stories to tell and adventures they have experienced with crew members. By introducing boats within their environment, a landscape scene, typically water and a backdrop at different times of the day in different weather conditions moments can be captured that can perhaps transcend the functionality of boats and the image can hopefully emotionally engage with the viewer on higher levels.
