Advertiser, radio presenter, art director, creative director, branding design, copywriter, writer, storyteller, philanthropist, photographer, I could be the iron man, but I'm not, but I ended up being known as Sagoias because of my instagram, which is a joke with my name, but my name is Hélio Júnior. Born and raised in Brasília, I do a lot of my work here, but I still love to travel. I still love to travel, because since 2008 I photograph bands and I have traveled a lot doing this, being on stage is a passion and I loved this road thing, but then I got tired of it and I thought it was getting older. It was actually a disease - Multiple Sclerosis - that stopped me for a while and made me see the world with different eyes, or at least I perceived the world with different eyes. Now I wanted to dare more, take the obvious and make it not so obvious, I wanted to be different from the rest and after a little over two years of therapies and treatments I started shooting again, weaker, a little shaky, but more inspired than ever. Ah but this is no longer one of those stories you read behind a jar of ice cream, not really. I did not come from a great generation of creatives, in fact I am the second of the creative lineage of my family, following my late grandfather who was a great storyteller and wrote very well, it was he who taught me to look at the beauties hidden from this gigantic world, he taught me to find beauty in everything. For these and others that I believe we can all be creative in some way, we can all dare to dream, plan and do new things always. Sometimes we just need the right inspiration, or a beautiful shake of life as it happened to me to realize that when something seems to be the end, maybe it is, but this is the best thing, because it is also the beginning of something new , beautiful and incredible to come! And I want to make it clear that I talk a lot about God, I always talk about Him. He is my everything and there is no way to talk about creativity and beauty without talking about the Creator of all this, right? And in spite of all my joy, I take black and white photographs, with evident contrast, because I believe that a beautiful poem only needs black and white to be written and I don't take pictures, I tell stories.
