Ode to Form celebrates the masculine interplay of power with sensitivity, using Delacroix’s reclining nude as a symbol. While it is undeniable that toxic masculinity exerts a detrimental influence on women, men are also compelled to conform to socially imposed roles such as performers, bread-winners and box tickers. In this photoshoot, both subjects were engaged with Proust questionnaires to establish a first personal connection. Throughout both sessions, candid discussions ensued to capture only what was sincere, raw and true. In the end, only the essential remains. Near sold out show. 13 originals were sold over 16 exhibited.
