In this particular piece you can see, in the upper/left of the work,the comunist monument of the entrance to the mine, and in the middle/left side, the Romanian symbol for coal miners, in the city of Vulcan, Romania. Vulcan, in Romanian means `Vulcano` but the name is derived by the Slavic `VLK` which means `wolf`. `The City of Wolves` is a series of photographs in which I take some images from my documentary project called `vlk` and I play with them under the light of the enlarger. Working with transparent paper, acrylics, pencils, and a lot of various instruments that are able to play a role in the `light over photographic paper` technical route. Original: Black and White Photographic Paper / N312 / Matt paper manually processed;

Romania
I have a BA degree from the department of Photography-Video-Computerized Image Processing at the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. From 2015 I teach study of drawing, study of color, and study of gestual drawing at the School of Arts „Sigismund Toduță” from Deva, Romania. I like to see myself as a member of an exploration team, and to see my work as an act of my presence into a, more or less, metaphysical exploration mission. A tipe of exploration in wich I am finding me, and, in a final, me getting through the reality filters, observing everything from a, in a way, objective perspective, disseminating the fact of the „real”, and in other way, from a subjective perspective, becoming some sort of metaphysical critic in two ways: criticizing the subject that I see, and criticizing me in the end – because, like it or not, I am part of the subject wich I criticized.
