15956 is an original and is part of the REVOLUTION series of works. It has no copies, challenging assumptions regarding how we see a 'print'. Can it be seen as a 'print' if there is only one? 15956 is created out of process; from the program that made the 'key' shape to manipulations of the polyester plate containing it, it's inking and pressing. The work was made horizontally with no preconceived aesthetic and presents an 'empty sign'; meaning and signification derive from the viewer. Signature is verso and suits a floated frame.
