About The Artwork

A New Day is an Asian inspired monotype. A monotype is one of a kind, unique piece of artwork. It is a form of printmaking, requiring pigments, a surface on which to apply them, paper and a press. The images you see are built up from several layers of archival oil based inks on inked plates and pulled through a press. It is on fine art paper that measures 19”x15”. The actual inked art area measures 10”x10”, so there is a white border all around the image. It can be framed as is - or with a mat. It is signed on the front in the white area along with the title. It will be shipped rolled.
