Part of the In Another Place project. In Another Place opened on May the 19th 2018 and ran until July 28th 2018 and is at the Leicester Print Workshop as well as 9 other partner organisations and 10 billboards across the East Midlands in association with CVAN EM (the Contemporary Visual Arts Network East Midlands). Through the use of existing works (by Sally Rose Renner) and the manipulation of retail reproductions (by Bulb Studios); the artist is questioning the originality of a reproduction and the appropriation or ownership of an image from/for the web site iloveleicester. Focusing on light and dark, altering and enhancing the depth and scale of original images, teasing out memories, as we fill in the blanks that make up the landscapes that we recognise but can now see as another place, such as the Leicester skyline.
