About The Artwork
Those works were made in the frame of workshop was realized in March 2010 with a group of Gypsies from the camp Bobigny 93. Some months after that the settlement was disbanded and most of the Gypsies from this settlement were deported within the action of persecution of emigrants and Romani population from France. The work on the creative potential of this group, as well as what followed that, opened the question of the social reality, freedom and racism in the nowadays society of West Europe.

Veljko Zejak (1980) makes sculptures in different materials and techniques and uses other media like printmaking, video and sound. Since 2001 he develop inovative technique of printing in clay. His art work is characterized by relation to social tensions and social responsibility. He develops collaborative projects,often insisting on working with vulnerable groups.Veljko lives and work in Ljubljana and Belgrade. For his work he has received numerous awards and grants.
