About The Artwork
The inspiration for this artwork is the work of Matisse. I use stencils and cutouts in the pochoir method. After choosing the subject matter of Yoga and the positions, I cut out my patterns and began thinking of the Matisse coloring. I Ink up the stencils and plates and create aseries of monotypes by moving the stencils around. This is a one of a kind monoprint, numbered 1 of 1. It is printed on Hahnemuhle copperplate printing paper
