Contact us.Vladyslav Volosenko is a Ukrainian sculptor and artist, born in Kyiv in 1964.
His interest in sculpture developed at an early age. At the age of twelve, he entered the T. H. Shevchenko Republican Art School in Kyiv, where he began to pursue his artistic education with a particular focus on sculpture.
He later studied at the Kyiv State Art Institute, now the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, graduating in 1991.
Following his graduation, Volosenko moved to Canada, where he began developing his international artistic career. His sculptural practice has been realized in marble and limestone, with works commissioned for private and architectural spaces in North America.
Among his significant projects is Stones for Men and Women, created for Jorge Pérez in Miami. His marble sculptures have also been exhibited at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco, while his limestone sculpture Family is located in Trump Tower, Florida. His works are also held in private collections.
In 2008, Vladyslav returned to Ukraine and became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since then, he has continued his artistic practice in Ukraine, working primarily in sculpture and developing a body of work shaped by his experience of working across different cultural and artistic environments.
His sculptures explore the relationship between the human figure, material, space, and emotion, combining a classical sculptural tradition with a contemporary approach to form.
