Ganesha or (Ganesh) was the elephant-headed god in Hinduism. He was the son of Shiva and Parvati. Ganesha is a very popular god in Hinduism, and was one of the most worshipped. "Vighneshvara" in Sanskrit language means one who was the lord of obstacles or difficulties.
