Contact us.Branko A. Stanojkovski (Anisin) is a Macedonian sculptor, a founder of 'Anisin Woodworks', and the creator of the innovative sculptural process Deep Carving 3D. For decades, he has explored the expressive and spatial possibilities of wood, developing a distinctive artistic language rooted in organic form, deep carving, spatial movement, and the interaction between matter and space.
As a prominent figure in his field, he holds official credentials for international representation in craftsmanship, reflecting his status as an authority on high-level wood synthesis and sculptural technique.
He says:
My sculptural work explores the hidden relationship between matter, memory, and transformation. Working exclusively with walnut wood, I have developed a proprietary sculptural method known as Deep Carving 3D, which focuses on creating profound spatial structures that reveal the inner movement, energy, and potential of the material.
Rather than imposing a predetermined form, I seek to discover the forms already inherent within the wood. Through a gradual process of carving and refinement, each sculpture emerges as a dialogue between the natural structure of the walnut wood and the creative act.
The initial rough shaping is performed using hand-operated power tools, while the defining sculptural stages-refinement, scraping, detailing, and finishing are executed through extensive handwork.
For this, I utilize custom tools that I personally design and manufacture to meet the specific requirements of the Deep Carving 3D process. The final surface is finished using a 100% ecological thermal waxing method based on my own proprietary formula, developed through more than three decades of practical studio research and refinement.
My sculptures explore themes of growth, transition, spiritual memory, balance, and the journey from darkness toward light. They do not represent specific objects; instead, they invite contemplation of the invisible forces that shape both nature and human experience. For me, walnut wood is not merely a material—it is a living archive of time, memory, and transformation.
