ABOUT THE ARTWORK
For this sculpture which is carved from red marble from Andalusia, I felt inspired by drawings of Picasso. I made a very rough sketch as design and then searched a matching stone. From there the sculpture sort of created itself, all I did was releasing it from its cover. I was very honoured when at the very first exhibition a visitor immediately decided to buy my Valentina!
