This collage represents, most of all, the primary and atavistic anger that breaks out when I find myself in front of breathtaking seascapes ruined by untold amounts of plastic carried by the waves. The artwork is abstract but, looking better at it, you will be able to recognize the sun and the clouds and a stormy sea ... a sea of plastic, precisely, a sea that, with all its power, throws us all in the face which for decades we have thrown at him. Save the Sea is a collection of objects made from materials (generally plastic) found on the beaches. I often frequent beaches that are not well-known and less frequented; something that has always amazed me is the amount of plastic that I find and I often drag through steep paths and dense vegetation. Collecting those objects in such beautiful places is something therapeutic and it can only open the mind, regenerate it, and trigger new creative processes (in my case). Marine Anger is a source of reflection on the environmental impact we have and our holidays, our “forgetfulness“, our choices and, more generally, our lives. Synapses are ready, reception is good. And you, are you ready to connect?

My name is Sara and I am from Foggia. My laboratory is also my home. I love living here because I always have everything I need to create, the best insights come at night … and often they pull me out of bed because they want to be born! The project Malice’s Craftland stems from my love for the environment and all of nature, from my deep opposition against waste and feeble that I have always had for the things produced by upcycling other things … I use all the materials that I can find … I recycle just everything, the good thing is that I find myself every day to have to learn a new technique that continuously stimulates the birth of new ideas.
