About The Artwork
Inspired by the formidable Muskie or Pike, this print features flipped stamps a background that is actually the faintest hint of blue. This one painted so smooth, I was no doubt in the zone and in tune with the energy during the painting process. A combination of acrylic paint and hand-stamped linocut printmaking, my artwork is made to be better than the original when printed, to include enlarged, and framed under glass with white matte. Inspired by by Jackson Pollock, Ansel Adams, Andy Warhol, Naka Bokunen, Todd McFarlane and Jim Lee, my current art is a combination of acrylic paint, linocut stamp and marker. Born of experimentation, tenacity, and harnessing creative energy. Painted on quality 24" x 18" paper, my originals have no clear coat or sealer applied and are scanned into digital format using the finest modern technology and software for the finest prints. Only about 25% of this series actually make it to print, each one is an experiment in color and patterns, they are fun to create, like a prize in the cereal box, sometimes you just don't know what you are going to get. It is amazing how little nuances in brush strokes and color make a difference. All artwork is registered and copyright protected in accordance with U.S. Patent and Copyright Office.
