April Winds No.11, an 11 x14w/28x35.5cm painting on unstretched canvas, is part of a group of works that are about the natural beauty, lush chaos and soft winds that occur on the prairie (grasslands) during the spring and summer. Technically, these works are expressionistic and gestural with thick areas of paint handling. No.11 is my favorite from the series to date.
