About The Artwork
Small, silent and beautiful inland towns. Ancient towns where life goes on almost as if on pause, the inhabitants live and work without a clock having stopped so that they can enjoy a good sunrise and let themselves be enveloped by the warm sun or the warm wind. Towns where even tourists stop their crazy pace with those they usually live with to enjoy the landscape and tranquility, to enjoy a time where a simple breakfast becomes a ceremony of reunion with other people or with their own need for a break. This work corresponds to a series called "Andinos" presented at the MM Art Museum, Argentina, it was inspired by trips made to these beautiful and small towns, places where it is inevitable to get carried away by the harmony between the landscape and its inhabitants.
