Contact; canvas, acrylic; 2019; 100 x 150 centimeters; 39.37 x 59.06 inches Immersion in the ocean and in its secrets, in space and its secrets, in the secrets of the human subconscious. All these thoughts are very close to me. I’m always wondering what is there. What is beyond the familiar? What is beyond our comprehension? I think that any thinking person sometimes thinks about it. My art work contact is an artistic discourse about the unknown. Thinking about what we have yet to get in touch with. There is definitely something there that we cannot even imagine. Man has so much to learn. If you think like me or it seems, then this art work is for you. It is sold on a roll to make it easier to deliver to your city. And this allows me to make art work and delivery a little cheaper. While on this work a huge discount. The price is already indicated at a discount. But this is temporary.

Artistic Statement I paint large scale contemporary pieces, up to three meters, that combine Expressionism and Abstract Expressionism. Also my artworks are land or seascapes and figurative art. The mix of styles creates is a dialogue between interior emotions and the outside environment. I like to think that all my art comes from a place of optimism and a celebration of life. I believe that the art and objects that we surround ourselves with can motivate people and infuse our lives with positive energy. I have always maintained, and tell my art students, that good art requires steady and constant effort and practice, so I make sure I paint every day. I am also constantly looking for ways to add new elements, stylistically and conceptually, to my work. Bio Aleksandra Cherepanova based in New York, but was born, grew up and was educated in Moscow, Russia. She earned her MFA in painting in 2007 from University Natalia Nesterova in Moscow and relocated to the US in 2020. Over the past decade Aleksandra had solo shows and participated extensively in group shows in NYC as well the US, Europe and Asia. Over this time, she has received Jury Prizes in many competitions as well as serving as judge for several exhibitions. Aleksandra’s work is also in museums and private collections around the world. Aleksandra now works mainly painting large scale abstract and semi-representational pieces. Additionally, she has an ongoing video series interviewing local NYC artists on YouTube.
