This work is inspired by my "Strata" series where I paint one layer over another trying to convey the changing nature of things. In the end, all we see is the surface, but there is much more behind it, there is a story in each person, each object, each landscape. Layer upon layer I seek to capture the impermanent quality of matter. The work is rich in textures, rough and strong in some parts, soft and delicate in others. Splatter and calligraphy techniques are used to add depth and meaning to the piece. As with most of my abstract work, it can be placed in any vertical or horizontal direction, which gives the work greater strength to the idea of ​​change and impermanence. I suggest moving the work so that the layout is changed from time to time, to better appreciate its transitory nature.
