Abstracted landscape painted plein air made in the camargue region of southern france, looking to the esssence rather than the detail. I live about 35 mins drive from this lovely nature zone and regularly try to capture the magic of the light and earth, so far I've made over 80 pleinair paintings in this area, like fishing you catch something and then the odd time you really catch something The garlic and onions are real they will help you check the color and know the size. ...................................... but how can you stop an over run infestation by your own out of control species, about to self destruct, each one of us is the problem, each one of us is responsible for this rape of this planet by dint of our very human existence.. we destroy, we are destroyers, it’s our basic nature, we take and want more and take more and want more and on and on, ad infinitum.
