About The Artwork

The picture is dedicated to the ancient theme - the mythological subject, which is relevant for the rethinking of the values of classical art and the classical era at the present stage. The author's treatment of the eternal image of Zeus in the image of a bull and the girl he steals is aimed at achieving a grand epic sound, where the heroes are monumentalized, and the author claims that Greek mythology is alive. The main character of the work is a bull, his powerful head with plasticly drawn horns occupies almost the whole field. The figure of the girl in the work is flexible, delicate and delicate, she is presented as a counterbalance to a powerful force. In general, work is a harmonious juxtaposition of two principles, female and male, yin and yang. The main visual means in work is a contour, a living and plastic line, through which stable structural patterns are built.

Playing with textures and visual effects, where textiles turn into brush strokes, has become my calling card. I like to call my works "three-dimensional" because my works combine painting, sculpture and craft. In my work I am looking for ways to recreate the feeling of natural textures. I try to recreate emotional feelings from contemplation of objects around us by using wool threads. My works are abstract, at first glance, but if you take a proper look you will discover many elements of real world. There are bright fresh spring green leaves, streams of icy water and warm sunlight. In my works I try to convey the textures of objects in the light and air environment, but at the same time I do not depict them, I do not focus on their materiality. Instead, I use non-pictorial materials for this sensory impression. I emphasize the idea that the world is essentially dualistic, everything in it is connected by invisible ties, everything is connected with everything. The world of abstract forms and theories is the embodiment of the physical world, and vice versa.
