This painting was definitely influenced by Turner. I have never strapped myself to the mast but I have sailed a catamaran off coast in turbulent waters which were thrilling but scary. I attempted to catch that power of the waves. The canvas is wrapped around edges and is ready to hang. No frame is needed.

In 2019, I started to develop computer ideas which I could translate into paintings on silk. The silk paintings themselves are labor intensive but I enjoy tremendously learning new techniques and the producing something beautiful to the eye and touch.
